Hi PDI,

Our developers are hard at work on DOCman 2.0 and we will post more information about it as it becomes available
But rest assured the Joomlatools team is working hard to bring you the next major version of DOCman as soon as possible, without compromising quality :)

Part of the work on DOCman has involved working on some of the smaller components that make up DOCman, which will be released in the Member center soon – these are FILEman & LOGman, which you can read about here:

Can you elaborate on your comment?

DOCman 1.6.2 is the recently released Maintenance fix for DOCman 1.6.x series built to run on Joomla 1.7.x

DOCman 1.6.1 was released on 17 Sept, you can read about it here:
