I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of DOCman 1.5.9. This is a maintenance release which solves some tricky bugs and many minor annoyances.
As always those whom purchased DOCman 1.5 will receive an email with download information to the update package and those whom have not purchased it yet can head over to the Joomlatools store and do so right now!
You may have encountered strange behaviors when assigning modules to DOCman menu items. When you click links from DOCman or its modules, the modules you assigned to DOCman may not appear. That’s because DOCman doesn’t generate the correct Itemid on URLs. This was a major bug that’s fixed now.
This bug also caused other problems related to SEF and menu permissions. If you encountered issues like these, this release just fixed it.

Today we are happy to announce a new feature on our support forums which is aimed at improving the support work-flow. The new feature gives our support team and forum members the option to mark topics as solved or re-open an existing issue should the need arise.
In the event you have an issue with one of the Joomlatools products then you can head over to our support forums to report your issue. Once you receive an acceptable answer you can mark the topic as solved. It also adds the ability to search for unsolved topics, your own unsolved topics and in advanced search only in solved topics. Below you find a few screenshots of this new feature which will help to outlines the usage of this new feature.
